A healthcare trust in London is seeking a Stop Smoking Advisor to oversee the delivery of the CoSTED Project. The role involves working closely with the Emergency Department and community services to provide support to smokers. Key responsibilities include engaging with patients, managing data for the intervention, and developing resources to aid in quitting smoking. Strong communication skills and prior experience as a trained stop smoking advisor are essential for this post.
This exciting new post will deliver the CoSTED Project at UHL and QE hospitals. The project provides free e-cigarettes to smokers whilst they wait in the Emergency Department. The role will oversee the delivery of the project under the guidance of the Stop Smoking Team Lead and will work with band 4 colleagues to set up, run, and analyse the project on a day-to-day. Having strong communication and partnership skills and experience, as well as being a trained stop smoking advisor, are vital for this post.
