What You’ll Be Doing

As a Business Tax Senior, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory work across a varied client portfolio and contribute to the wider growth and development of the tax team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
  • Assisting with P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, ERS, and EMI reporting
  • Working on advisory projects including capital allowances reviews, succession planning, profit extraction strategies, and employee incentivisation
  • Identifying wider tax planning opportunities and collaborating with specialists across the firm
  • Building relationships with clients and managing day-to-day communications
  • Supporting junior team members through coaching, review, and knowledge-sharing
  • Collaborating across offices and service lines to ensure joined-up, value-driven delivery
What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and excited by the opportunity to make a difference as part of a close-knit, ambitious team.

You’ll ideally have:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified and/or ATT or CTA qualified (or close to completion)
  • Solid experience in UK corporate tax compliance
  • Some experience of working on advisory or project-based assignments
  • Ability to interpret financial accounts and understand broader tax implications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused mindset
  • Working knowledge of Alphatax (preferred, but not essential)
  • A proactive, self-managing approach with good organisational skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and confidence in mentoring junior staff
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
