About the role

Westfield Health group are proud to be supporting Bupa, a multinational health insurance and healthcare company, with the wellbeing support of their team.

The Corporate Fitness Coach position will act as the wellbeing ambassador within Bupa, inspiring Bupa’s staff in their fitness and wellness journeys.

Your responsibilities

• Day to day running, management and coordination of the onsite Active Spaces.
• Deliver a hybrid of onsite and virtual delivery of group exercise. classes, 1-1 and group session at all levels.
• Delivering ad-hoc individual / group health screening and workshops on a diverse range of wellbeing topics, facilitating health improvement with a non-judgemental and motivational approach.
• Work with the Bupa wellbeing team and our team at Bupa Staines to assist the development / delivery, and role model the Bupa wellbeing calendar.
• Conducting initial assessments & 1 to 1 review sessions at regular intervals to ensure user engagement and minimise drop-outs.
• Update training plans and / or re-evaluating clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Play an active role in the delivery, creation and improvement of our wellbeing initiatives such as MHFA, office energisers, and wellbeing workshops.

What you’ll bring

• A valid industry certificate such as Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training / Fitness Instructing and Personal Training.
• Proven track record of successfully working independently to establish training needs, develop interventions to meet these needs, and deliver high-quality health and wellbeing solutions and interventions as a result.
• Ability to effectively develop working relationships and influencing employees.
• Experience in teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A passion and ethos for helping others with their health and wellbeing.
• Able to engage, influence and coach others across the business to achieve buy in and engagement to support delivery of the wellbeing strategy.
