Our client, the largest privately owned global insurance broker, is recruiting for a key position within its Global Real Estate & Construction Due Diligence Practice. The practice provides pre and post funding due diligence advice to commercial real estate loan originators and servicers, analysing the insurance aspects of financing transactions to protect lenders' interests.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop key relationships with real estate and development financiers.
  • Review facility agreements and the insurance provisions contained therein.
  • Liaise with lenders and lawyers regarding insurance clauses and recommendations.
  • Report on policy deficiencies, negotiate amendments, and issue formal reports on insurance aspects of financing.
  • Support the expansion of the Due Diligence Practice across the global network of offices.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong technical background in real estate, commercial property, or construction.
  • Ability to liaise at senior level with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to assimilate contractual language and risk/insurance issues.
  • Experience in broking, underwriting or claims within the insurance discipline is desirable.
  • Willingness to undergo comprehensive training if lacking direct role experience.
