Overview

St Ives Gold Mine is one of Western Australia’s most prime, complex, and dynamic gold operations. With multiple underground and open-pit mines, St Ives is a cornerstone asset renowned for high-grade ore, operational excellence, and a long mine life.

We are seeking a Coordinator ESS to lead and coordinate Emergency Services, Security, and Medical functions on site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and security of our people and operations.

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off | Travel: FIFO from Perth or DIDO from the Goldfields region

Your Impact
  • Lead, coach, and engage the Emergency Response, Security, and Medic teams to deliver best practice emergency, medical, and security outcomes.
  • Oversee department budgets, training, consumables, and emergency/security equipment maintenance.
  • Represent St Ives and Gold Fields in forums such as mine rescue committees, competitions, regulators, and community emergency response groups.
  • Ensure compliance with site certifications and legal requirements, including Poisons Permit.
  • Manage the onsite medical centre with a strong focus on patient care.
  • Maintain site access systems and conduct security investigations when required.
About You
  • Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue (essential)
  • Certificate IV in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Response (essential)
  • Control a Level 1 Incident / Incident Management qualification (desirable)
  • Certificate III or II in Security Operations (desirable)
  • Extensive Emergency Services and/or Security experience in mining
  • Strong leadership background in emergency services team environments
  • Familiarity with systems such as INX, Gallagher Command Centre, emqnet, and Best Practice (highly regarded)
