Job summary

Vistech Services Ltd in Middlesbrough is seeking a Control Room Operator to schedule shifts and deliveries within a security control room. Strong organisation, communication, and analytical skills are essential to perform effectively.

You will be the main contact outside normal hours, coordinate the mobile supervisory team, and ensure smooth handovers to the day team. Training is provided; 42-hour week on a rotation; pay £15 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• DBS certificate required.
• SIA CCTV Licence required.
• SIA DS or SG Licence required.
• Excellent IT and administrative skills expected.
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills expected.
• Supervisory/Team Leading experience preferable.
• A full UK Driving Licence with 0 or low points required.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for the company outside of normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
• Direct movements of the Mobile Supervisory team.
• Ensure key information is handed over to the day team.

Vistech Services are looking to recruit Control Room Operatives. The position will be ideally suited to candidates with the organisational ability to be able to schedule shifts and deliveries to their required locations. Excellent communication & organisation skills are essential to the role. Good practical, analytical skills combined with a common-sense approach is essential. The role is in a Security Control Room.

Responsibilites and duties

• Main point of contact for the company outside of normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
• Responsible for directing movements of the Mobile Supervisory team
• Ensuring key information is handed over to the day team

Qualitifications and skills:

• A clean DBS certificate
• SIA CCTV Licence
• SIA DS or SG Licence
• Excellent IT and administrative skills
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
• Supervisory/Team Leading experience is preferable
• A full UK Driving Licence with 0 or low points

The successful candidates will be supported by the Vistech Duty Manager when required.

Job information:

• 42 hour per week average on rotation pattern
• Must be flexible and able to cover holidays and shortfalls where required in conjunction with the working time directive. It is a self contained role-Pay rate £15.00 per hour dependant on skills and experience
