Contract Manager Concrete Frame & Groundworks

Location: Central Scotland (travel as required)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

A respected and well-established reinforced concrete and groundworks contractor is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee multiple projects across Central Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, reputable business with a strong pipeline of complex RC frame and civil engineering work.

Our client is a long-standing specialist contractor with nearly three decades of successful operation within the UK construction sector. They deliver a wide range of technically demanding projects, including:

  • High-rise reinforced concrete frames
  • Slip-form and jump-form core construction
  • Groundworks, formwork, falsework, and structural concrete
  • Major residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments

With a turnover in the region of GBP20 GBP25 million, they are known for delivering quality, maintaining strong client relationships, and running a tight, programme-driven operation.

The Role

As Contract Manager, you will lead the delivery of multiple RC frame and groundworks projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing contracts from mobilisation through to project handover
  • Overseeing project teams, subcontractors, and site operations
  • Monitoring programme, cost control, and quality performance
  • Ensuring all works meet the company s high health & safety standards
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders
  • Assisting with tendering, planning, and commercial activities as required
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in RC frame is desired
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of programme management and cost control
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges
  • A full UK driving licence
