Job summary

A local government agency in North West London is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee capital and facilities projects within schools. The ideal candidate should ideally be a qualified Building Surveyor or on the path to qualification. Responsibilities include providing technical advice, managing the delivery of projects, and liaising with educational stakeholders. This is a contract role initially for 3 months, with the opportunity to extend up to 12 months or more.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing capital and facilities projects.
• Knowledge of property and construction legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage allocated Capital and Facilities Projects across the entire school estate.
• Provide technical advice on property and construction.
• Identify and investigate defects in corporate and school buildings.
• Deliver schools Capital works and maintenance programmes to specifications.
• Collaborate with Council partners and stakeholders.
