Are you an experienced Facilities Management leader with a strong background in PFI contract delivery?

We are seeking a commercially minded Contract Manager to manage the full delivery of Hard and Soft FM services, lead operational teams, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing facilities management across the estate.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a major multi-site education contract, leading FM service delivery while driving commercial performance and outstanding client relationships.

Responsibilities

You will oversee all FM operations including M&E maintenance, building fabric, grounds, cleaning, catering, caretaking, helpdesk services, subcontractor management, and the planning and delivery of lifecycle and variation works.

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing operational teams
  • Managing subcontractors to meet performance, safety, and quality standards
  • Delivering lifecycle programmes and project works on time and within budget
  • Owning contract P&L, budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensuring full contractual, statutory, and Health & Safety compliance
  • Building strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
About You
  • Extensive experience delivering Hard and Soft FM services
  • Proven success managing PFI contracts or complex estates
  • 10+ years’ senior FM leadership experience
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Sound Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent IT, reporting, and analytical abilities
  • Working knowledge of SFG20 & AP / RP frameworks
  • NEBOSH or IWFM qualifications & Fire safety, Legionella, or CDM experience
