Job description

NHS SBS is seeking a highly organized and diligent Contract Management Support Officer to join the Commercial Consulting team. This role involves supporting contract management processes, maintaining documentation, ensuring system accuracy, and coordinating cross-team activities.

This is an "expression of interest" advert. Currently, there are no live roles, but opportunities will be available soon. We are starting discussions now!

Your responsibilities will include maintaining compliance across contract lifecycles, updating systems, managing documentation, and supporting large-scale projects using platforms such as CEMAR and Primavera P6.

As part of the team, you will help tailor recommendations to client needs, facilitate decision-making, and promote expertise within the team. A commitment to knowledge sharing and skill development is essential.

Key duties:

  • Maintaining accurate contract records and audit trails in line with NHS SBS standards.
  • Managing contract data in digital platforms like CEMAR and document management systems.
  • Scheduling and supporting contract meetings, including minute-taking and follow-up.
  • Coordinating communication between contract managers, project teams, and suppliers.
  • Ensuring records and documentation support regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Supporting multiple projects, including updates using Primavera P6.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a commercial, procurement, or project environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity with CEMAR and Primavera P6.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting NHS or public sector organizations.
