Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm is seeking an Android Architect / Lead Engineer for a remote contract role in the UK. The position involves reviewing the existing Android app architecture and proposing enhancements. Successful candidates will have extensive experience in Android development with Kotlin/Java, and strong skills in stakeholder management. This is a 3-month contract starting in early January, and candidates must be available immediately or with a short notice period.

Job description

Role : Android Architect / Lead Engineer

Contract Length : 3 months initially

Start date : Early Jan, must be available immediately or with a 1-2 week notice period

Rate : around £500 per day - outside IR35

Location : Remote (you must be UK based with the right to work in the UK in place, we cannot work with offshore, or umbrella companies sponsoring visas)

TrueNorth are working with a large financial organisation who are looking for an Android Architect / Lead Engineer on a contract basis.

You will be working with the Principal Mobile Architect and Lead on an exercise to review the organisations current Android app and platform, with a view to recommending changes for new architecture, frameworks, languages for the next iteration.
