  • Duration: Permanent

Job Role

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a key role in ensuring departmental compliance with company standards on Food Safety and Health & Safety. This position leads weekly continuous improvement (CI) meetings focused on unplanned stops and top losses using structured LEAN problem‑solving tools and the PDCA cycle. The role works closely with teams to drive improvement activities, quantifying outcomes and tracking benefits. You'll also be responsible for managing and acting on performance data, including preventative maintenance. Support for projects, process upgrades, and technology implementation also falls within this remit.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
  • Previous experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, KAIZEN, or similar methodologies
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • HNC/HND or a Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
  • Project or Change Management training/certification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, Prosci)
