Consultant Stroke Medicine - Buckinghamshire

Consultant Stroke Medicine vacancy in Buckinghamshire. We have a Consultant Stroke opportunity on an initial 12-month NHS Fixed Term Contract.

Our client is an integrated Trust based in Buckinghamshire, with a recently expanded Stroke service and a second cath lab, maintaining an A-grade rating for SSNAP. They have been designated one of eight Accountable Care Systems in the country and named in the top 40 Trusts in the UK.

Vacancy information:

• Based in a high-performing Stroke Service with a grade A SSNAP rating and excellent hyper-acute domain scores, including thrombolysis.
• 24/7 Mechanical Thrombectomy (MT) available across partnering sites, with a transfer rate of 5% and rising.
• Top 10% of Trusts nationally for Door in Door Out times.

Successful appointees will be required to maintain high clinical standards in Stroke patient management, share day-to-day management responsibilities, teach junior staff, and participate in Clinical Governance and audit.
