A leading healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Medical Oncology Consultant to join a dedicated Urology & Melanoma team in the United Kingdom. The appointee will engage in all departmental activities and is expected to participate in the Oncology Team's operations. Essential qualifications include full GMC registration and entry on the GMC Medical Oncology Specialist Register. The position offers a full-time substantive consultant post of 10 PA, with options for part-time appointments.

CPL Healthcare UK are seeking a new consultant colleague to join the Urological & Melanoma team to look after Urological Cancer

The Urology MDT includes a committed team of specialist surgeons. Laparoscopic and robotic surgery programmes are offered.

There are dedicated urology speciality radiologists with interventional radiology commitment, Medical & Clinical Oncology consultants, advanced radiographers, including a consultant radiographer in training.

Oncology clinics are supported by clinical nurse specialists and nurse/pharmacy prescribers. Prostate brachytherapy is well established. All are committed to best patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The appointee will join the Oncology Team as a Medical Oncology Consultant and will be expected to participate in all facets of departmental activity.

A full‑time substantive Consultant Oncologist post of 10 PA is available, covering the job plan as detailed below. A part‑time appointment would be considered with appropriate reduction in clinical responsibilities.
