Job summary

A mental health service provider is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to contribute clinical leadership to the North Somerset Recovery Team. This role involves providing assessments, treatments, and supervising medical teams in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate should be fully registered with the GMC and have experience in community settings. Qualifications

  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of gaining CCT.
  • Experience in community settings and evidence of effective multidisciplinary team involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct interventions to service users requiring varying levels of care.
  • Supervise the medical team and act as Responsible Clinician (RC).
  • Develop and review treatment plans for service users.

Education

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
Relevant Higher Degree (e.g., MD, MSc)
