Job description
Consultant General & Interventional Radiology - Bedfordshire

We are working with an NHS Trust in Bedfordshire to help recruit a Locum Consultant General & Interventional Radiologist on a 12‑month fixed‑term, salaried basis. This new post supports the redesign and development of the interventional radiology services. The Trust has invested £150 million in a new building that will house two high‑spec hybrid theatres commencing clinical work in 2025.

The Trust achieved an overall “Good” CQC rating in 2022. It is a regional centre of excellence for several key specialties, a tertiary NICU provider and one of the largest breast‑screening centres in the country. A second subspecialty interest such as HPB or GI imaging would be highly desirable, though not essential.

Bi‑annual FRCR courses and other postgraduate courses are conducted by the Radiologists.
