The post is offered as 10 programmed activities (PAs) over five days and you will be part of the general medical on call rota. We are open to discuss any specific or specialised job plans that candidates may desire, including flexible/less than full time working. Job Plans are open to discussion and negotiation. Candidates must have a higher medical qualification (MRCP or equivalent) and be on the GMC Specialist Register for G(I)M and Gastroenterology or be within 6 months of obtaining the CCT at the time of the interview. Your clinical skills and expertise will be of a high standard covering Gastroenterology. There is a voluntary limited option to cover General Internal Medicine. A familiarity with issues of service organisation and development would be particularly advantageous. This service is well supported by a sister Hepatology department, who manage routine and emergency Hepatology conditions.
