A leading healthcare institution in Exeter seeks a full-time Consultant Emergency Physician to provide critical care and support to patients. Applications are invited for one full‑time Consultant Emergency Physician post (10.53 PA) – part‑time applicants are also welcomed. The post will start as soon as possible. Successful candidates will join our existing team of 20 full‑time consultants in a department receiving an outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission in 2015 – one of the national leaders in emergency care.

Our Trust is a teaching hospital based in Exeter, offering rich cultural, sporting and natural surroundings. We provide easy travel links, a full‑time academic unit recognised by the UEMS and a range of CPD opportunities including ultrasound training.
Consultants work a shop‑floor presence from 08:00 to 23:00, 365 days a year, with a vibrant middle‑grade and junior rota. The department participates in national audit networks and is an accredited major trauma unit.
