Location: Mansfield
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: Starting from £136.35 per day

Are you an experienced and passionate Construction Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver Construction-based learning to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and practical construction lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils through 1:1 and small group teaching, ensuring progress and skill development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional and academic growth.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies to meet diverse needs.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained during all practical activities.
Requirements
  • Relevant teaching qualification or industry experience in construction, you do not necessarily have to have had experience working in education
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and ability to adapt teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons and maintain a supportive learning atmosphere.
