Construction Solicitor (contentious) 4+ PQE

Location and Salary

Newcastle, c£75,000.

About the Role

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will have experience in:

• Claims in the construction, engineering, and energy sectors
• Professional negligence claims involving construction professionals
• Adjudication and adjudication enforcement work
• Arbitration, litigation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients
2. Handle own caseload with diverse clients
3. Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential case files
4. Engage in business development within the firm
5. Participate in group meetings
6. Develop new business from existing clients and seek new clients
7. Maintain professional contacts and promote the firm
8. Align with the firm’s mission and core values
9. Be a team player, organized, and timely
