Job summary

Barratt Redrow plc is seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead construction on developments across the UK. You will manage pre- and post-housebuilding works, ensuring health and safety compliance, timely delivery to programme, quality outcomes and customer care.

You will coordinate trades, supervise labour, monitor costs and conduct inspections with NHBC and local inspectors, while maintaining high site presentation and strong communication with sales teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering against established build programmes.
• Proven ability to meet weekly targets through efficient labour planning.
• Excellent communication and ability to secure compliance across teams.
• Strong leadership and assertive delivery to high-quality standards on site.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to changing business needs with problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of developments, ensuring H&S, programme delivery and quality.
• Coordinate labour and resources to meet build programme deadlines.
• Control costs and approve contractor payments as appropriate.
• Conduct plot inspections and rectify defects to avoid delays.
• Lead on-site toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and partners to achieve programme goals.
• Work with Sales to ensure smooth handover to customers.
• Maintain high standards of site presentation and customer care.
