Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the on-site team from planning through to completion, ensuring programme, quality and cost targets are met. You will manage the site team, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate trades to maintain momentum on active developments across the UK.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid background in established build programs, and a commitment to health and safety, NHBC standards, and building regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience working within established build programs.
• Assertive to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Member of CIOB or qualified to NVQ level in Construction Management or time served tradesman.
• In depth knowledge of Health & Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations.
• Good knowledge of customer service issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
• Attend Sales/Build meetings with Sales Team and inspect show homes.
• Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
• Ensure the on-site Construction team is fully resourced with clear guidelines and training.
• Deliver excellent customer service to customers.
