Position Summary

The Manager, Construction is primarily responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of all phases of assigned projects to meet objectives with respect to budgeting, estimating, value engineering, bidding, purchasing, contracting, and scheduling of assigned projects. This is in support of the Senior Director, Construction.

Job Duties
  • Manages day to day processes of a construction project e.g scheduling, quality assurance, execution of plans
  • Works with consultants managing RFIs and submittals
  • Reviews plans and specs to ensure compliance with Irvine Company standards
  • Supports with budget development and monthly management
  • Coordinates and manages acceptance walks with General Contractor, Apartment Operations and ICAD Quality Assurance.
  • Manage GC to secure Certificate of Occupancy, bond release, filing Notice of Completion, etc.
  • Acquires closeout documentation
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in a construction-related or engineering curriculum or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of multi-family construction experience.
  • Contractor’s License preferred.
  • Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in estimating, scheduling, and spreadsheet applications including but not limited to: MS Project, Excel, Word, Google.
Compensation

Base Pay Range: $118,500.00 - $160,100.00

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
