Conservation & Landscape Operative

Salary: £23,901.43 per annum

Contract type: Permanent / Working hours: Full time

Location: Brockholes Nature Reserve, Just off Junction 31 of the M6, Preston, Lancashire, PR5 0AG

Would you like to be in a hands on position, working in practical conservation?

The Contract Services Department of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust has developed over the years into a professional and respected unit within the organisation for the delivery of a range of conservation, landscape and countryside management work. Based at Brockholes Nature Reserve, the team works across a wide area within the region.

An opportunity has arisen for two new operatives to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful applicants will work with the operatives and senior operatives, to deliver practical conservation, landscaping and countryside management tasks across a range of sites.

The ideal applicants will be enthusiastic and adaptable individuals who have practical experience in a conservation role, along with the ability to operate site machinery.
