Overview
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a leading compressed air supplier and manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Northwest of the UK. Full product training provided.
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, and fault-finding on compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air products.
- Maintain, repair, and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across the Northwest of the UK.
- Install compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into various manufacturing industries.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault-finding and repairs on compressed air equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements
- Proven diagnostic skills on complex electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
- Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, and capital equipment is advantageous. Training provided.
- A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification (apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree) would be advantageous.
- Home-based, willing to travel
