A leading Compressed Air Distributor is seeking a Service Engineer to provide electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance of compressed air equipment across customer sites within 35 miles of Bedford. The ideal candidate will have a field service background in electrical or mechanical engineering, particularly with compressors and similar equipment. Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, company van, and various benefits offered.

Qualifications

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading Compressed Air Distributor

The Successful Service Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites within 35 miles of Bedford. Full product training provided.

The Service Engineer will ideally have a field service background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, dryers, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air-related equipment.

Role
  • To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
  • The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
