Overview

Composite Laminators / Technicians Required! BE Recruitment are recruiting self-employed Composite Laminators to join a well-established composites company in Melton Mowbray (LE13). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with real opportunities for career development and progression.

Hours & Pay

• Days: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (£21 P/H)
• Nights: Monday - Thursday 18:00 - 06:00 (£24 P/H)
• Weekends: Friday - Sunday 06:00 - 18:00 (£26 P/H)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare moulds and apply release agents correctly before use
• Hand laminate pre-prep materials to specification and drawings
• De-mould cured parts carefully to avoid damage
• Inspect finished components to meet quality standards
• Follow company quality management systems and procedures
• Identify and report any errors or issues in drawings or processes

Skills & Experience

• Experience in composite lay-up and laminating
• Ability to read and understand lay-up drawings
• Methodical, accurate, and detail-oriented approach
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
• Awareness of material usage and waste reduction
