Commutable from: Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Chesterfield

Pay Rate: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour

Contract Length: 3+ months

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30
Friday 07:30 - 12:30

The Role

As a Composite Fitter Contractor, you will be responsible for fitting, bonding, and finishing composite components in line with technical drawings and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Fitting, bonding, and assembling composite components according to technical drawings
  • Inspecting parts to ensure accuracy before progression to the next stage
  • Precision trimming of composite parts using hand, power, or automated tools
  • Preparing moulds, sanding, polishing, and finishing composite components
About You
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with pre-preg carbon fibre, fibreglass, or Kevlar
  • Knowledge of adhesives, sealants, and other bonding agents
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical, engineering, and schematic drawings
