Job Title: Compliance Officer
Location: Hertfordshire (Office-based)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
This is a hands‑on, compliance role focused on mitigating risk for contractors in the construction sector. You will review reports, investigate anomalies, and make outbound calls to contractors and clients to validate information, clarify discrepancies, and ensure that payments, tax codes, Unique Tax References (UTRs), CIS registrations, and KYC information are accurate and fully compliant with regulatory and company standards. You will maintain clear audit trails and escalate high‑risk matters, making this role central to protecting the business and ensuring robust compliance across the construction contractor network.
