Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Compliance Manager for a key global media client. This newly created role reports to the Group Head of Risk and involves assurance over compliance activities and reporting trends to Executive Committees. Astrum Search is supporting our key media client, that is renowned globally, to recruit a Compliance Manager. This is a newly created position, reporting to the Group Head of Risk.

The role is part of a transformation across risk and compliance, providing assurance over compliance activities across the business, horizon scanning for new regulations and compliance trends, as well as being heavily involved in reporting to Board and Executive Committees.

There are options to be based in either London or Birmingham; 2-3 days a week in the office.

Are you the right candidate?
  • The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, legal or audit qualification or equivalent compliance certification.
  • A proven compliance professional with between 7-10 years’ experience with in‑house experience.
  • Has a strong understanding of and experience in operating an effective corporate compliance risk management programme and best compliance practices, understand the external legal and regulatory environment and apply it in a tailored manner.
  • Experience conducting second‑line monitoring and assurance of compliance risk and be able to prepare Board level, Executive level reports.
  • Highly experienced in supporting teams on a variety of initiatives, in a busy environment. A team player, with a positive self‑starter attitude.
