Job summary

A health services provider in Bournemouth is seeking a Compliance Administrator to ensure administrative and compliance processes are managed effectively. You will support onboarding for temporary staffing and maintain compliance records to uphold the high standards required in healthcare services. Qualifications

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our dynamic Temporary Staffing Services (TSS) team at University Hospitals Dorset.

Base Location: Yeoman's House/Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Main duties of the job

As the TSS Compliance administrator, your ability to swiftly and accurately manage administrative, onboarding and compliance processes will be key to maintaining our staffing standards.

You will be part of a team responsible for the onboarding and verification of requirements for all bank and agency workers.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for onboarding and compliance of bank and agency workers, ensuring all requirements are met to the highest standard.
  • First point of contact for queries from various stakeholders, escalating as appropriate.
  • Support the monitoring of systems in maintaining up to date and compliant records including all statutory and mandatory training, professional registrations, DBS checks, and right-to-work documentation.

Qualifications
  • Good standard of general education (4 GCSEs at A-C level, or equivalent), including maths and english language.
Experience
  • Previous experience of office work and general administrative tasks, including dealing with telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
  • Previous experience of working as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team, in a busy and challenging office environment.
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS.
  • Previous experience of working in temporary staffing services/staff deployment in a similar setting, either in public or private sector.
  • Previous experience of recruitment/onboarding practices.
Technical Skills and Competencies
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to evidence the ability to learn quickly new systems and software.
  • Able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word to a good standard.
  • Ability to work to tight and often changing timescales and deadlines.
  • Excellent data entry and database maintenance skills.
  • Familiarity with temporary staffing systems currently in use – e.g. HealthRoster, BankStaff, TempRe and ImageNow.
  • Highly proficient in Office Excel, Outlook and Sharepoint.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of administration and clerical systems and procedures.
  • Awareness and understanding of importance of data and person confidentiality.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NHS and relevant terminology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of NHS employment check standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the NHS Core Skills Training Framework.
