Complex Support Worker Job Overview
  • Location : Paddock Wood, Kent
  • Hourly Rate : £15.00- £16.83 per hour with enhanced rates on BH and over festive period
  • Shifts Available : 2-3 shifts a week , days 7 : 00- 19 : 30, nights 18 : 30- 8 : 00 including alternate weekends (additional shifts may be available for annual leave and sickness cover)
About the Role

Continuity of Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Complex Support Worker to support our sociable 20s male client living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He requires a patient carer willing to spend time getting to know him and to support him with elements of his social care. He has a great sense of humour and loves meeting new people. He requires assistants at the college on specific days in the week, therefore we are seeking confident driver to take him there and support during the day. He has an avid interest in football and playing games on his Wii. His other enjoyments are walks in the local community and listening to music.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced care professional who meets the following criteria
  • Previous care experience (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence to drive a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) (essential)
  • A caring, patient, and understanding approach to working with individuals with complex care needs
  • Commitment to promoting independence and delivering person-centred care
  • Please note you must be eligible to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship
