About the Role

You’ll be supporting a young ladyin her 20's who has complex needs due to brain injury, including: cerebral palsy, mobility issues, epilepsy and visual impairment. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

She lives at home with her family, enjoys music and concerts, the cinema, bowling, shopping, arts & crafts and spending time with her friends. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.

What We’re Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking afemale support workerwith:

  • Agenuine passionfor care and making a difference
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empatheticnature
  • Reliable, committed, and flexibleapproach
  • Experience incomplex careand managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to workindependently and as part of a team

You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.

  • Support with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any changes
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
