Qualifications

• Experience of working in hazardous areas.
• Completed CompEx Ex05 – Ex06 certification (Dust) is a plus.
• Preferably holds PASMA, IPAF, and CCNSG certifications.

CompEx Electrician - Greater Manchester

Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 + Overtime + Van + Fuel card + benefits

Contract type: Permanent

We're looking for a skilled CompEx Electrician to join our client's MEICA and Capital Maintenance team at M Group. You'll be working alongside our client's ATEX and Electrical Services Teams, predominately within the water industry, but also in the Energy and Manufacturing industries.

• Carrying out a range of electrical installations and maintenance projects in hazardous areas, all in accordance with BS7671: 18th Edition and BS60079, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Working alongside our established team of experts, which means you will receive a wide range of industry help and support.

What you'll bring

• You’ll have previous experience of ATEX zones and hazardous areas
• You’ll have working knowledge of a wide range of Ex protection concepts, including but not limited to: Ex d - flameproof, Ex e - Increased Safety and Ex i - Intrinsic Safety
• You’ll have CompEx Ex01 – Ex04 (Gas & Vapours)
• You’ll have completed an NVQ Level 3 (Maintenance or Installation)
• You’ll have also completed 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regs and City & Guilds #removed# Inspection and Testing
• You’ll have industrial experience
• Preferably, you’ll also have CompEx Ex05 – Ex06 (Dust), PASMA, IPAFIOSH and CCNSG.
