Job description

Key Responsibilities :

• Nutrition & Hydration : Serving meals, helping patients eat, and providing drinks.
• Emotional Support : Talking to patients, reassuring them, and providing companionship.
• Environmental Maintenance : Keeping patient areas clean, tidy, beds made, and sterilizing equipment.
• Clinical Assistance : Supporting nurses in clinics, assisting with basic wound care, and preparing exam areas (depending on training).
• Communication : Liaising with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team.
• Stock Management : Checking and ordering medical supplies.
• Personal Care : Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and changing positions.
• Patient Monitoring : Taking and recording vital signs (temp, pulse, BP, weight).
• Mobility Support : Helping patients move around, get out of bed, and use equipment
