Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced receptionist to provide a professional, welcoming reception for patients, staff and visitors. You will handle calls, sign-in procedures and daily admin tasks in a busy healthcare environment.

The role requires organisation, reliability and a good level of numeracy and literacy, with a friendly, confidential approach to all site users. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as receptionist/administrator, preferably in healthcare.
• Organised, helpful, multi-tasker.
• Proficient computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Telephone system knowledge and professional phone manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience.
• Greet visitors & notify staff of arrival.
• Ensure sign in/out, and record patient movements.
• Answer & transfer calls; take messages.
• Sort & distribute post.
• Assist with general office duties.
• Keep reception area clean and tidy.
• Promote safety & security; ensure protocols.
