Job summary

Cygnet Kenney House in Oldham is seeking an experienced receptionist to join our hospital reception team. You will welcome visitors, manage sign-ins, answer calls, and support daily admin tasks to ensure a smooth operation.

The role requires excellent communication, confidentiality, and a patient-focused approach. Full-time, 42 hours per week on a rota basis, with potential weekend shifts and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Experience as a receptionist/administrator, liaising with customers/clients.
• GCSE Maths and English at a good level.
• Computer literacy: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming reception experience.
• Greet visitors and notify staff on arrival; manage sign-in/out.
• Answer and transfer calls, take messages as needed.
• Sort and distribute post; assist with general office duties.
• Keep the reception area clean and secure.
