Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with clients and colleagues in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated empathy, discretion and care when supporting clients and families.
• Comfortable with numbers: cash handling, discounts and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone; arrange family visits and answer questions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming funeral home environment; report issues.
• Use digital systems and devices to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work (funeral plans) to Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist in the care and preparation of the deceased and manual handling as required.
• Enter information into client management applications accurately and timely.
• Learn and use new applications and systems with provided training.
• Deliver excellent service and build strong community relationships.
