Job summary

OurCoop is seeking a compassionate funeral care team member to be the families’ first contact at the scene of bereavement. You will care for the deceased with dignity, manage preparation and presentation, and work within our funeral team delivering the highest standards of service.

A full UK manual driving licence is required and you will participate in standby and on-call rotas. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and will provide coaching and support through a respectful recruitment

Qualifications

• Compassion, empathy and professionalism when caring for the deceased.
• Physical ability to lift and transfer the deceased.

Responsibilities

• Care for the preparation and presentation of the deceased with dignity and respect.
• Attend Standby and On-Call rota as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues as part of a caring funeral team.
