Co-op Funeralcare is hiring for a full-time funeralcare role covering Watford and surrounding areas. The position involves visiting clients, handling funeral arrangements and providing compassionate service. Full training is provided, with a competitive salary, pension, and product discounts.

Qualifications

• Needs full UK manual driving licence.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle cash, discounts, and data entry.
• High attention to detail and adherence to policies.
• Empathy, discretion and care in handling sensitive duties.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet clients and build relationships in the community.
• Support clients in person and by phone, arrange family visits and answer questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe and welcoming, and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems and devices to manage client documentation, arrangements and invoicing.
• Escalate regulated work such as selling funeral plans to the Funeral Plan Arrangers team.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and care/preparation of the deceased.
• Update client records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
