Job summary

OurCoop is seeking a compassionate Funeral Care Associate to support families during bereavement, caring for the deceased with dignity and coordinating presentation and care. You will work as part of a close-knit funeral team, maintaining high professional standards throughout every step of the process.

You will be required to participate in Standby and On-Call rotas, and hold a full UK manual driving licence.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and transfer the deceased with care and safety.
• Excellent communication with families during a difficult time.
• Respectful and dignified handling of the deceased.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and presentation of the deceased with dignity and respect.
• Be the first point of contact for families at bereavement scenes.
• Participate in Standby and On-Call rota as required.
• Assist with transfers, driving, and routine duties with our funeral team.
