Job summary

CO-OP Funeralcare in the UK is hiring for roles involving compassionate client support and bereavement services. You will help families, manage arrangements, and ensure a dignified, well-organised funeral home environment. Training is provided, with a strong emphasis on empathy, accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Empathy and tact when supporting families during bereavement.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records and invoicing.
• Basic IT literacy and ability to use multiple devices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep funeral home clean, safe and welcoming; report maintenance issues.
• Manage client documentation and invoicing across digital systems.
• Refer regulated work like funeral plans to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist in preparation of the deceased and manual handling as trained.
