Qualifications

Community Support Worker - Cardiff

Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Do you have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour
  • Promote independence and wellbeing through day-to-day activities and community engagement
  • Assist with care plans and goal setting in collaboration with service users and professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure consistent communication with the wider support team
  • Drive to and from service user homes and appointments across Cardiff and surrounding areas
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
  • Challenging behaviour and Autism awareness training
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
