A local government authority in Rochdale is seeking a motivated Project Officer to join their Community Safety and Resilience Service. This role involves working closely with police and community partners to reduce crime and lead community initiatives. Ideal candidates will have project management experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze information strategically. The post holder will work from the Partnership Hub at Rochdale Police Station and will access police data, information and intelligence. The post holder must therefore satisfy Greater Manchester Police vetting processes prior to commencement of employment.
Our Community Safety & Resilience Service operates between the award winning ‘Number One Riverside’ council building and Rochdale Police Station as well as other locations across the borough as required.
The role will occasionally consist of early morning, evening and weekend working dependent on operational need. The role will also require you to drive RBC vehicles therefore you must be able to drive independently throughout the borough.
