Community Registered Nurse

At Teignmouth Hospital we provide care to patients and support families in our community. Using your skills you too can make a difference. You will be using a wide range of your nursing skills as we provide a variety of support from complex wound management, catheter care, palliative care and diabetes management.

Throughout your day you may be working independently but we like to meet up for lunch and discuss what’s going on and what support we can offer each other. Working together is a big part of our ethos along with being flexible and promoting a healthy work and home life balance. The commute to work alone is one of the most picturesque you will find, and our stunning local community is breathtaking.

As a team we work closely with our other departments to help with an interlinking supportive care for better all-round awareness to ensure that patients receive coordinated care. Our amazing volunteers' teams are a big part of this too.

Applicants must already hold their NMC registration for the position as stated in the JD&PS

Knowledge and experience

• Awareness of resource management
• Holistic client assessment using an identified model of care
• Utilising specialist knowledge across a wide range of work procedures and practices underpinned by theoretical knowledge
