Community Care Assistant

Location: Halstead, Essex

Hours: Part Time & Full Time (flexible)

Salary: £13.68 per hour

Enhancements: Weekends £14.08, Bank Holiday £16.96 per hour, £300 WELCOME BONUS FOR NEW JOINERS

Forest Homecare is recruiting Community Care Assistants to work in Halstead, Essex. No experience is necessary as full paid training is provided. As a Care assistant, you will need to have a professional, caring and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Helping our Service Users maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Assisting our Service Users with all aspects of personal care such as dressing, undressing, bathing and toileting.
  • Supporting with preparing and serving meals.
  • Maintaining the service user's physical environment including laundry, changing, and making beds, tidying and light cleaning duties.

We provide care 365 days a year between the hours of 6 am to 11 pm and split this over 4 shifts (Morning, Lunch, Tea, and Bed).

We can offer you full or part-time hours including every other weekend or one day every weekend.

Experience

This role is varied, and every day is different, so being adaptable, using your common sense and initiative are a ‘must’ for this role. You do not need to have worked as a Care Assistant before applying to us, but all experience in this field will help.
