A leading social housing association in Plymouth is seeking a Communications Officer to provide effective communications support. This varied role involves managing PR, delivering impactful communications, and ensuring well-planned media relations. The ideal candidate will have experience in communications, be highly creative, and manage pressures effectively. In this varied and demanding role, you will provide effective communications support to PCH, reporting to the Communications Manager and managing proactive and reactive PR on a daily basis. You'll need to deliver effective two‑way communications to a range of internal and external audiences using a variety of channels, and using your creativity to stand out from the crowd. The successful candidate will need to be able to work under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines, and be confident making informed decisions on communications issues which could have a significant impact on the business.
