A leading academic institution is looking for a Communications Manager to support the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). The role involves leading communication projects for the NIHR Research Delivery Network and managing media relations. This position can be based in Leeds or London, offering a hybrid working environment with flexible arrangements. It is a fixed-term role covering maternity leave, aimed at enhancing health research communications and public engagement.

We are recruiting a Communications Manager to support the work of the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
There are two main aspects to the role – with the post holder contributing 50% of their time to NIHR Research Delivery Network (RDN) communications activity, and 50% of their time to the NIHR media relations delivery team:
This role can either be Leeds or London‑based. We work in a hybrid way with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time in the office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.
Please note that this is a fixed‑term position to cover maternity leave.
