A local government authority in Birmingham is seeking a passionate individual to lead the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Prevention Strategy. The role involves collaborating with various partners, ensuring data-driven decisions, and presenting reports to the Cabinet. Applicants should have demonstrated experience within domestic abuse services, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the domestic abuse landscape.
Every year, domestic abuse shatters the lives of 2.3 million people across the UK. In Birmingham, we are determined to change that. This is your opportunity to join a passionate Domestic Abuse Prevention Team, working to break the cycle of abuse, support safer communities, and deliver lasting change through the City's Domestic Abuse Prevention Strategy. The post holder will lead on implementing Part 4 of the Domestic Abuse Act, which places duties on local authorities to provide domestic abuse support in safe accommodation for all survivors. Amongst other duties, this role will involve progressing and delivering work at a fast pace.
