Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Newport, South Wales
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £45k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a privately-owned Commissioning specialist. They are looking for a hardworking Commissioning Engineer who can integrate well into their established team, and maintain the company’s strong reputation. They are able to consider candidates who have experience within Pre-Commissioning, who would be interested in moving into Commissioning, as they can offer excellent training and development plans for hardworking individuals. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits, such as ample overtime opportunities.

It is preferred that candidates are based in / around: Newport, Chepstow, Lydney, Abergavenny, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Barry, Penarth, Bridgend, Aberdare, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Yate, Thornbury, Filton, Bristol, Bath, Corsham, Chippenham, Calne, Melksham, Trowbridge, Yatton, Portishead, Weston-super-mare, Radstock, Ross-on-Wye, Swansea, Porthcawl, Merthyr Tydfil, Burnham-on-Sea.

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Must have a successful track record working as a Commissioning Engineer, within a well-established outfit
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including: BSRIA and CIBSE guidelines
  • Will ideally hold CSA Grades and / or Eastwood Park Training
  • Good literacy and IT skills
  • Able to produce regular detailed reports
  • Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
The Role:
  • Undertaking the balancing of water and air systems across a mixed portfolio of client premises
  • Back-flushing in accordance with BSRIA guidelines
  • Checking flow-rates and velocities
  • Producing regular service reports
  • Ensuring to remain up-to-date with industry guidelines
  • Working across a range of commercial, industrial, public sector and manufacturing sites
  • Meeting with clients on site to discuss technical queries and provide updates on works
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
