Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Newport, South Wales
Salary/Benefits: £28k – £45k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a privately-owned Commissioning specialist. They are looking for a hardworking Commissioning Engineer who can integrate well into their established team, and maintain the company’s strong reputation. They are able to consider candidates who have experience within Pre-Commissioning, who would be interested in moving into Commissioning, as they can offer excellent training and development plans for hardworking individuals. Experience / Qualifications:

• Must have a successful track record working as a Commissioning Engineer, within a well-established outfit
• Excellent technical knowledge, including: BSRIA and CIBSE guidelines
• Will ideally hold CSA Grades and / or Eastwood Park Training
• Good literacy and IT skills
• Able to produce regular detailed reports
• Flexible to travel in line with company requirements

The Role:

• Undertaking the balancing of water and air systems across a mixed portfolio of client premises
• Back-flushing in accordance with BSRIA guidelines
• Checking flow-rates and velocities
• Producing regular service reports
• Ensuring to remain up-to-date with industry guidelines
• Working across a range of commercial, industrial, public sector and manufacturing sites
• Meeting with clients on site to discuss technical queries and provide updates on works
• Representing the company in a professional manner
